    A rushed list of weird suggestions for memorizing a deck of cards. Nothing new or effective. Latin is in the Title only. Go somewhere else for Latin words, they are not here. I can't remember anything from the book so how is that for customer satisfaction. None is right! I reread the book without presumptions. Vocabulary may be the most essential part of learning a language. If you don't know what words to use, how can you speak, read, or listen to a different language? That's where core vocabulary comes into the picture. Your core words are the most important ones in the language - the most basic bricks you'll need to build up your language skills.

That means if you took the time to master ten vocabulary words a week, you could have all of the vocabulary memorized in a year.

That's crazy. This is an excellent set of Latin vocabulary cards. I wouldn't say that the cards are any thinner than I expected -- they're fine and will hold up well. Also, it seems unfair to expect that the all words in any particular Latin text will necessarily be present although I can't imagine that many in Wheelock's or other texts will be missing.4/5(30).
